IN MEMORIAM
Flamboyant I
1991 Stallion
Flamboyant I, affectionately known as Baron to those who loved him, was a purebred Arabian stallion. Throughout his long life, he sired many foals and excelled as an upper-level dressage horse, even performing airs above the ground. Baron served various roles, including show horse, lesson horse, trail horse, and ranch horse, and even accompanied his owner on camping trips and elk hunting.
MJ was there for him when his 30 year old mother didn't have milk, raising him as a bottle baby on goat milk. Baron lived a strong and healthy life until the age of 35, with MJ attentively managing the natural effects of aging, such as arthritis. He was lightly worked every day to maintain his mobility. Just as MJ supported him in the beginning of his life, she sat with him in his final hours until the end. Run free now, Baron! You are missed every day.
